C.R. Langille spent many a Saturday afternoon watching monster movies with her mom, a tradition that would eventually lead a queer, transgender woman to find her voice as an award-winning horror author. Langille is the founder of Timber Ghost Press, holds an MFA: Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University, is an affiliate member of the Horror Writers Association, and serves as the DEI Chair for the League of Utah Writers, where she was also named Editor of the Year in 2024.

Callie Stoker is an editor with two decades of experience. Her business The Manuscript Dr offers coaching and editing services. Candace J. Thomas wears many hats including author, editor, podcaster, publisher, scientist, and most recently President-elect for the League of Utah Writers. She may be a petite blond who runs on sugar, but she has 13 years in the publishing game and knows her stuff.

David Rodeback lived in Colorado, Idaho, and New York for about a decade each before landing in American Fork, Utah. He has degrees from Brigham Young University and Cornell University and taught at both schools. He’d still rather teach, but he is Chief Marketing Technology Officer of a West Valley City manufacturing firm instead. His self-published collections of short fiction have won Silver and Bronze Quills and were named notable reads by the 2025 Utah Book Awards. His first novel, a contemporary coming-of-age tale, debuted in December 2025. He is LUW's 2025 Writer of the Year.

Emily Robyn Clark is an award-winning filmmaker and author of Morning Comes Roaring Down the Mountain (2025) and Art Triumphant (2017). Her poems, short stories, and articles have appeared in numerous publications including Lullwater Review, SLANT, LA’s Cultural Daily, Aspen Daily News, and The Sow’s Ear Poetry Review. Her debut film Love Spell won 11 awards and premiered at 16 festivals globally, while her screenplays have placed in top genre festivals including FilmQuest and Renegade Film Festival. She is professionally known for her work as a Script Supervisor and Producer on several film productions. She trained in story development, pitching, and producing in the MFA Film Production program at Florida State University, with additional screenwriting study through the Sundance Institute, and trained in acting and directing under Bernard Rose and Nick Gaglia. In addition to providing script coverage and story development for American Content Media in Los Angeles, she has consulted for clients including Zepstone Media and Skrein Productions. Emily is the founder of Modern Mythic Productions, president of the Screenwriters Guild, a chapter of the League of Utah Writers, and a mentor in the alumni program at Florida State University.

Jodi L. Milner is the author of the award-winning Shadow Barrier Trilogy YA fantasy series as well as multiple other works. She’s also cohost of Squirrel! Podcast for Distracted Writers, runs a small virtual assisting business helping author clients overcome technical challenges, and teaches at local writing conferences.
